LabStrong™ Rapids™ Notification Code M001 | Cartridge Kit Not Installed

You have been directed to this page because you scanned a QR code on the LabStrong™ Rapids™ Type I Water Purification System. 

If you have a cartridge kit installed but you are receiving this error, there are three common causes that result in this code are:

Locate the cartridge that has the NFC tag (a small, white circular sticker).  The cartridge with the NFC tag should be placed in slot #1.  If you do not have a cartridge with the tag, please contact LabStrong™ at 563-588-8900 or via email at technicalsupport@labstrong.com.

Rotate the cartridge in slot #1 to align the NFC tag to the NFC tag reader on the Rapids™ unit. If this does not work, try the other two suggestions on this page.  If you have already tried the other options, please contact LabStrong™ at 563-588-8900 or via email at technicalsupport@labstrong.com

Using the test NFC tag on the back cover of your Rapids™ User Manual, hold up the NFC tag to the reader on the Rapids™ unit.  You may need to remove the cartridge in slot #1 to do this test.  If the test works and the NFC reader is functioning properly, you’ll notice a ‘pop-up’ on the touchscreen.  If this test or any of the others don’t work, please contact LabStrong™ at 563-588-8900 or via email at technicalservice@labstrong.com.
