DUBUQUE, Iowa (February 26, 2014) – LabStrong Corporation now manufactures an air filter suitable for operation in Thermo Scientific Barnstead water purification system storage reservoirs. The product protects pure water during storage by preventing airborne impurities such as organic vapors, carbon dioxide, alkali and acid gases from entering the water storage reservoir. The product effectively filters dust and particles as small as 0.2µm from the air.
The air filter, LabStrong part number 25001LS, is directly compatible to the Thermo Scientific Barnstead part number 25001 and 25001-DB. Under normal operating conditions, the air filter will last up to 90 days or until 1,000 gallons of water have been drawn from the water storage reservoir. Each air filter is individually sealed in a plastic bag to extend the shelf life. The air filter provides outstanding quality at a significantly lower cost than the competitor’s.
