DUBUQUE, Iowa (May 2, 2016) – LabStrong Corporation now offers a new adapter kit for the LabStrong Fi-Streem™ III Still. The LabStrong Fi-Streem™ III Still to Thermo Scientific™ Barnstead™ Mega-Pure Automatic Collection System (ACS) Adapter Kit allows for automatic operation of Fi-Streem III Stills using the Mega-Pure ACS. The adapter kit eliminates the need to replace the Mega-Pure Automatic Collection System with a LabStrong water storage reservoir.
“Customers wanting to replace their Thermo Scientific Barnstead Mega-Pure Still with a LabStrong Fi-Streem Still often asked us if they would be able to use their Mega-Pure ACS with our Fi-Streem Stills,” said Kristin Buchholtz Marketing and Sales Manager at LabStrong. “In the past, this was not possible. Now, we offer an adapter kit that allows customers to replace their Mega-Pure Still without the need to replace their Mega-Pure ACS. This allows customers to save hundreds of dollars when investing in a new Fi-Streem distillation system.”
The adapter kit, part number AY0012-5, allows for automatic operation of all LabStrong Fi-Streem III Stills (A56210-857LS, A56218-857LS, A56220-857LS, A56228-857LS, A56230-857LS and A56238-857LS) and Thermo Scientific Barnstead Fi-Streem III Stills (A56210-857, A56218-857, A56220-857, A56228-857, A56230-857 and A56238-857). The kit includes an adapter box, glass distillate connector and clamp. Installation of this kit is quick and easy. For convenience, the adapter box features multiple mounting holes, which allow for secure mounting to a wall or benchtop surface.
